COPROB

We are a cooperative of about 4,000 Italian beet growers (plus another 2,500 suppliers of raw materials) that promotes the continuity of the only Italian sugar supply chain with the technical, economic and social development of the members, making the most of the agricultural production of its members through the care and management of the sugar supply chain. 

Our Cooperative was founded in 1962 in Emilia-Romagna and, in over sixty years of activity, it has established itself on the national market by increasing its turnover and membership base. COPROB offers beet growers agronomic consultancy and services and coordinates the transport of beets from the farms to the two sugar factories of Minerbio (Bologna) and Pontelongo (Padua) which create an economic impact of around 200 million euros every year. We consolidated the production of sugar in Italy and certified it to increase customer awareness and food safety.
