Mauritius Sugar Syndicate

The Mauritius Sugar Syndicate is a 107 year old organization regrouping all sugar producers of the island, namely millers and planters, both corporate and small growers. Its primary objective is to optimize its members’ revenue through the adoption of commercial strategies and targets designed to capture the highest values obtainable for their sugars on a sustainable basis. The net sales proceeds, after deduction of costs along the supply chain, are redistributed to the producers

The Syndicate is managed and administered by a statutory committee comprising representatives of the corporate sector of the industry, including corporate growers and millers, and representatives of large and small cane planters.
